American Dental Professional Services (ADPS) offers a variety of group and individual discount healthcare programs plus fully insured Dental and Short Term Medical plans. Please also see the “Networks” tab on our Web site for information about national network leasing options available. The majority of our programs are available on a voluntary basis with no employer contribution required. Please scroll down to see the descriptions for the following plans:

Chiropractic Discount Program – Special reduced rates for Individuals and Groups
Hearing Services Discount Program – Access to lower out-of-pocket expenses from a network of hearing professionals.

DISCOUNT HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS

The discount programs listed below are NOT health insurance policies and the program does not make payments directly to the providers of health services. The program member is obligated to pay the provider for all health care services that the member will receive, but, the member will receive a pre-negotiated discount from the providers listed in the network, in accordance with the specific pre-negotiated discounted fee schedules. These programs provide discounts at certain locations for health services. The discount program does not guarantee the quality of the services or products offered by the providers.

The DCA dental program has eliminated many of the common items that could prevent or delay people from receiving dental care. The DCA program has contracted with general dentists and specialists to provide dental care at a reduced fee. This results in meaningful savings when compared to the normal (UCR) fees charged by general dentists and specialists. Members pay this reduced fee directly to the dentist. This is not insurance. Program features include:

• No Annual Lifetime Benefit Maximum
• No Claim Forms
• No Prior Authorization Required
• Minimum Group Enrollment – One Employee
• No Employer Contribution Required
• Full and Part-Time Employees Eligible
• Individuals Eligible (see our Members/Guests section)
• Individual Programs automatically include our discount Prescription Drug, Vision, Chiropractic and Hearing Services programs (see below).
• Group Programs have the option to add any of our other discount programs to the DCA program (see below).

Every family member can select their own dentist from the DCA Dental Network. Members can change dentists at any time without prior notification to ADPS, and can see a Network Specialist without a referral. The member is responsible to pay all fees to the dentist or specialist for all dental services that the member will receive. The Program does not make payments directly to the providers.

The DCA Senior Program includes all of the advantages of the Dental Care Advantage program noted above* at special pricing for those age 55 and over.

*This program does not include the discount Prescription Drug component of the traditional DCA program.

The OrthoCare plan is a stand alone orthodontic dental program. It includes discounted fees for both adults and children, and there are no waiting periods, no deductibles and no claim forms.

Members receive meaningful savings on orthodontic treatment received from an OrthoCare provider, and each family member can choose their own orthodontist. The member is responsible to pay all fees directly to the OrthoCare provider for services they receive. The Program does not make payments directly to the provider. This is not insurance.

The OrthoCare dental program can be offered as an addition to an existing PPO or indemnity dental plan that does not offer orthodontic benefits.

You may also have access to a Prescription Drug Discount Program offered through CAREMARK. This includes average savings of 20% on brand-name drugs and savings of up to 55% on generic drugs. Discounts are available at most pharmacies nationwide. The member is responsible to pay all fees directly to the provider for services they receive. The Program does not make payments directly to the provider. This is not insurance.
